From August 21 to 23, 2026, the 34th Guangzhou Fair was held at the Canton Fair Complex, with its core special exhibition, the 2026 Guangzhou Medical and Health Industry Expo, running concurrently in Area B. Seizing this opportunity, the Council for the Promotion of International Trade of Guangzhou Development District & Huangpu District organized a delegation of 11 high-quality local enterprises to participate in the expo. The delegation showcased innovative achievements of Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District covering medical devices, biotechnology, medical information technology, precision manufacturing and other sectors, building a professional platform for enterprises to conduct exchanges and explore business opportunities.

At the exhibition booths, participating enterprises carried out targeted matchmaking with industry merchants and professional visitors via physical product displays, technical briefings and face-to-face business negotiations, fully demonstrating the innovative vitality of local biotech and big health enterprises as well as the industrial cluster advantages of Guangzhou Development District and Huangpu District.

This group exhibition is a practical initiative of the CCPIT Huangpu to deepen corporate services and support local enterprises in "going global, expanding markets and fostering partnerships". Since the start of this year, the district CCPIT has hosted 8 biotech-themed exhibitions and industry-talent matchmaking events. These activities have facilitated precise coordination between upstream and downstream industrial chains, boosted in-depth industry-university-research-clinical integration and efficient allocation of talent resources, helped enterprises expand market channels and accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and further strengthened the agglomeration capacity and core competitiveness of Huangpu’s biomedicine and big health industry.
